VII MICE NETWORKING FORUM in St.Petersburg summed up the results of the year and outlined plans for the future
From December 8 to 10, the General Meeting of the members of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs and the VII MICE Networking Forum of the RUEF were held at two venues, EXPOFORUM CEC and the Grand Hotel Moika 22. The business program of the forum brought together the leaders of the congress, exhibition and event industry from different regions of Russia.

In term of the meeting, an agreement was signed on the establishment of an International MICE Consortium between the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs and the Indian business travel company Salvia Promoters Private Limited. The purpose of the creation of the Consortium is to organize and implement mutually beneficial joint initiatives aimed at strengthening international relations in the MICE field, as well as developing and supporting the congress and exhibition activities and the event industry.


At the General Meeting of the RUEF members the elections of the President of the Union were held. By unanimous decision of the participants, the current President of the Union, General Director of ExpoForum-International LLC Sergey Voronkov was re-elected to his current position for a period of 3 years.

At the General Meeting, the RUEF members also analyzed a wide range of issues and problems related to the congress and exhibition industry, heard the report of the President of the RUEF Sergey Voronkov on the work done over the past 3 years, the report of the Executive Director Elena Ublieva on the implementation of the RUEF strategy in 2022, and also discussed the plan work of the Union for 2023.
