The session was based on a discussion of the international experience of industry companies and associations during a pandemic and a presentation of the possibilities of the Russian congress, exhibition and event markets for an international audience.
This session was the first step during the pandemic on the way to dialogue between Russian and foreign companies, for the first time not only members of the union and domestic experts were invited, but also international partners: BRICSEM MICE forum, UFI, ICCA.
The session was divided into 2 blocks: the current state of the congress and exhibition market in Russia, with a focus on the potential for international cooperation and global cases of combating the pandemic.
The session ended with a speech by Viktoria Matei, one of the top 100 smartest women in the event industry, on the topic "The Psychology of Events" and why it is a necessity in a post-pandemic.
