In his speech, the President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Alexander Shokhin noted that the role of professional associations is growing every year, and this became especially noticeable in the context of the pandemic crisis, when many associations became the center for coordinating current activities and receiving support measures for their industries.
The subsequent discussion was conducted around a wide range of topics facing professional associations: building interaction with authorities, adapting to the changed economic and social conditions, managing associations in a new reality, the role of exhibitions in economic development.
Summing up the results of the Forum, its delegates stressed that professional associations continue to play an important role in shaping the social and economic life of their state. The presence of powerful industry associations develops and structures the economy, is an effective catalyst for industry segments in industry, trade and services.
